This is my rant about the two banks above. I saw a story on Fox News where a credit card company ran up this ladys’ interest rate and she did a video on YouTube and the company reduced her interest rate because she went public on them. This is my reason for speaking out against Chase and Citigroup.
According to CNN, they received 25 Billion Dollars. It was the largest amount given to any bank, with Citigroup and Wells Fargo also receiving the same amount.
To receive that much money from the taxpayers, and then for them to turn right around and run up their interest rates and up their payments so people can’t pay it, is just wrong. They are both getting tax payer money, and charging outrageous interest rates and upping payments to their customers, and they don’t care.
These business programs all say that these sharks will work with you, but they won’t. I find both of them repulsive in the way that they deal with their customers. I have been unemployed since last June, and they won’t work with me on my payments.
Anyone else have any problems with these banks? I thought that I heard Neil Cavuto say that they were contributors of Acorn, so I found this article about their Acorn ties. The more I look, the more I find.
“Continued identification with ACORN harms the company’s brand name and reputation, and carries special risks for this company, a recipient of taxpayer TARP funds,” he wrote. “The New York Times has identified you as President Obama’s `favorite banker.’”
Flaherty also points out that donations to the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN) and its affiliates actually run counter to the bank’s own policy statements. Financial support is restricted from “programs designed to promote religious or political doctrines,” according to the JP Morgan Chase web site.
Here is an excerpt from Michelle Malkin about Acorn and Citigroup:
GOP California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger now wants an investigation. But neither the Terminator nor any other California public officials raised a peep when the very same San Diego ACORN office publicly announced a partnership with Citibank to secure home loans for illegal aliens. In 2005, Citibank and ACORN Housing Corporation – which has received tens of millions of tax dollars under the Bush administration alone — began recruiting Mexican illegal aliens for a lucrative program offering loans with below-market interest rates, down-payment assistance and no mortgage insurance requirements. Instead of Social Security numbers required of law-abiding citizens, the program allows illegal alien applicants to supply loosely-monitored tax identification numbers issued by the IRS.
Here is Michelle’s article about acorn, and illegal alien home loan racket.
I doubt that they watch Rachel Maddow either. Every time I view them, I get mad. They make comments about Christians, and Southerners and I got to where I just don’t want to hear it. I will watch CNN before I watch them. What about you?
Our children are not only being taught to worship our President, but now they want to change their religion also. Anyone for Home Schooling? A lady on Glenn Beck’s show said that she Home Schools her children, and is required to teach them about homosexuality.
California’s course on world religions also omits Islam’s long history of jihadist violence, while portraying Christianity as an intolerant and bloodthirsty faith..
Christianity isn’t given equal time, either. It’s covered in just two days — as opposed to up to two weeks for Islam — and doesn’t involve kids in any role-playing activities like the Islam unit..
” California schools are pushing an unbalanced religious agenda that favors Islam and minimizes Christianity and Judaism,” Accuracy in Academia warns in its latest Campus Report.
Read this article. A friend of mine emailed it to me, and I looked it up on the internet.
We have to start praying for our Country as never before. We have to pray without ceasing also for our children. Hell is enlarging itself daily. I pray all the time about this. I pray that God will save the Presidents’ soul, and I bind the powers of Satan that has him bound, and I loose the convicting power of the Holy Spirit upon him. I do Congress the same way.
Things in this country are out of control. From the way that our kids are being indoctrinated, to the way the Democraps call us names because we don’t drink the Obama kool-aid.
I am tired of every single time someone speaks out about Obama’s policies, we are called racists. Jimmy Carter makes me sick. He was the worst president we have ever had, and Obama will be taking his place before long.
I do think that the racists comments are a stratedy of the left. They tried to label us as the party of “no”, and when that didn’t work, they called us an angry mob, and now racists.
Roman Catholic leaders are stepping up their fight against the Obama administration’s healthcare plans, urging their faithful nationwide to contact legislators to protest abortion provisions in Democratic bills.
I was wondering if they would appose the abortion provision, and it looks like I was right.
SAN FRANCISCO – Former Hewlett-Packard Co. chief executive Carly Fiorina on Tuesday took the first formal step toward running for Democrat Barbara Boxer’s U.S. Senate seat.
Fiorina filed for a tax identification number Tuesday and registered a campaign committee named “Carly for California.” The committee will allow her to begin raising money for a potential 2010 run for the Republican nomination.
In a statement, Fiorina said she had been encouraged to run by “people across the political spectrum” and will begin meeting with policy advisers and financial donors.
“The people of California have serious concerns about job creation, economic growth and the role of government in solving problems that touch each of our lives,” she said.
Could this be the reason that the Dems are having to pay people to show up at the Town Hall meetings? Or are they like the rest of us, suffering from Obama fatique?
The difference between them and us is that we are sick of him, and angry about the direction of the country. And what do we get out of it? Demonization from the media.
